World Music Conference

The World Music Conference (WMC) organised by the British Carnatic Choir is the flagship event in the Midlands. This conference strives to bring together the youth, artists, musicians, professionals of all age groups, faith, race and cultural backgrounds, in an attempt to share good values, practices, knowledge, common values and to promote peace, harmony and unity.

It has been a very enriching 6 year journey so far, nurturing useful partnerships and collaborations, thereby, believing in our vision and values. There have been some very meaningful dialogues and panel discussions with experts, highlighting the conference themes each year. Another distinguishing feature is that the conference takes great pride in engaging and connecting with children and adolescents each year by giving them opportunities to take pride in their culture and traditions and contribute to their overall wellbeing.
